C-54 MAKING CGA RUN AT GREAT FALLS AIR FORCE BASE - A Douglas C-54 Skymaster comes in low over the
CGA van at Great Falls Air Force Base, Montana. Pilots
are taught to fly a pattern that is similar to the approach
at Tempelhof. Instrument flying practices in making
CGA approaches, are stressed heavily at the
Replacement Training Center to train the pilots
for flying in the types of severe weather
usually encountered in the Vittles corridor.
