P.O.D. @ Teen Planet. Conyers, GA. August 24, 1999.

How awesome is it that this band has come through Georgia TWICE this summer!? Too awesome. We missed the first the two bands (Luti-Kriss, local hXc band and Dirt, hip-hop) because we were waiting on a certain person. But i won't say his name because i might spell ADAM wrong. :) It's all good, though because we came for P.O.D. Admission was only a buck so that worked out. We got there a few minutes before they started and Brent and I were pumped. P.O.D. blasted with a super-heavy opener and Brent tore up the dance floor. They segued into "Know Me" and we all screamed along with Sonny. A P.O.D. concert isn't a P.O.D. concert without "Draw the Line" and the crowd responded with the shout-along song. They played a whole bunch of new songs that I recognized from the last concert they played here. "Hollywood" was as tight as ever. They played the "French Fires" song and everyone went into a frenzy. Dirt joined Sonny for "Breathe Babylon" which was just so cool. I remember them doing that at Cstone 97. "Set Your Eyes to Zion" was just an awesome praise song that i held my hands up to God. It was amazing. "Outkast" was a highlight as we chanted, "I'm an outkast, but don't count me out!" P.O.D. ended the set with "Southtown" and Sonny concluded with a powerful devotion and lives were brought to God. God is amazing. I got the new CD, so check out the review on this website.
