A.G.M.I.S. (All Good Metal Is Scandinavian). This particular metal band
hails from the fjords of Norway. Combining classic metal (yea baby) with
the likes of death metal (ala Mortification) this is a
no-brainer...there is no better mix! I was totally blown away by the
talent of this band. Just check out "Reflections of a Broken Soul." It
starts out with an Indian-like guitar and blasts into some awesome
riffs. Get this! Three of the songs are in Norwegian (I'm gonna hafta
mail my aunt to translate them for me!). The one thing i wish there was
more on this is album are the clean vocals (like actual singing). It's
so cool when Ole Borud sings in "Reflections of a Broken Soul" among
about two other songs. Another thing about the vocals: not only growling
and singing, but screaming, too! Count 'em...that's three! Talk about
varied!
