Introduction to The American Civil War
The Revolutionary War was historically ended by surrender at Yorktown, but the real end to this war was the end of the American Civil War. The Revolutionary War was fought to achieve freedom, but to the founding fathers this only meant freedom for the white male. Women and non-white males were all pushed aside in a country intended for the free, but run by the tyrants. All other races, sexes, and religions were strictly persecuted and told their place in society. Women were intended for housework as were some female slaves, and racial "inferiors" were intended to live in the field, slaving under the hot sun for an ungrateful master.

Okay guys, I am really sorry. The Civil War Page was one of my first sites, but after browsing the web, I decided that the last thing that anyone needs is another Civil War site. I am truly sorry if this site has been indexed anywhere. Since I am not providing you with an outline of the Civil War, I figure I can at least give you some sites that will prove immensely informative.

Civil War Sites
HistoryPlace.com has an excellent timeline of events and includes many pictures and biographies.
CivilWar.com is an even better Civil War site. In depth coverage of just about anything on the Civil War that you can think of, plus a wonderful links list.
Again, Sorry for the inconvenience.
