"Why Bilingual Education Is important To Me"
Bilingual education is very important to me, and it means being able express myself to two languages. Bilingual education is very helpful for me and those new immigrants that the English was not
Their first language. I feel it’s a very ideal educational policy and supports principles of teaching.
I’m gratified to have been favored to have bilingual education when I first came here. It helps me to learn English easily and to improve my knowledge in every subject. Before I went t school, I felt so embarrassed because I never learned English before, so how can I know what the teacher said and communicate with other people. That kind of scene was like to cast pearls before swine. After one week, my embarrassment was to be lost in the cloud. Because I’m not afraid any more about how can I understood what the teacher was teaching in the class. The teacher was still teaching the lesson in English, but when the student didn’t understood something, they would translate and explain in Chinese. In addition to this kind of environment, it made me felt comfortable.
I’ve passed three years of bilingual education, now I feel it’s a very valuable goft to new immigrants, and this gift make those English are not well students more easily to learn knowledge in school. It made me not feel embarrassed about studying any more, and helped me to have more confidence and improve my interest about studying. Also, Bilingual Education helps us easily understand the lesson, helps us communicate and create relationships with other people who come from different places. Furthermore, it also can improve us in two languages, in future job or careers, it is useful to know two languages instead of one. To know more than one languages can help us to get more job opportunity, get higher salary and position. Consequently, give great thanks to Bilingual Education, it is the foundation for new immigrants growth. It is our guide to better prospects.
