Brief Introduction
The Rock, is the third generation wrestler in his family, with dad Rocky Johnson and granddad "High Chief" Peter Maivia previously in the wrestling industry. After graduating as an All-American football star from the University of Miami, he was influenced to join the World Wrestling Federation by his father and uncle, Superfly Jimmy Snuka. Known as Flex Cavana in the very beginning before combining his dad's and granddad's name and later changing his identity to Rocky Maivia, this chap was one of the youngest wrestler at that time. But that did not stop him from becoming the leader of The Nation of Domination with other wrestlers like The Godfather, D-Lo Brown and Owen Hart.He rose higher and clinched the WWF Intercontinental title at the age of 24. After The Nation was disbanded, The Rock carried on making achievements that only people who had been in the wrestling industry for years may have achieved, and that is to win the Champion belt in Survivor Series last November. The Rock thus became the most cocky and foul mouthed wrestler ever in the WWF. Always dressed like a million dollars with a pair of shades, he would refer to himself as "The most electrifying man in sports entertainment today!" But millions of fans all around the world would stand up in their seats when they heard "Do u smell what The Rock is cookin'?", whom The Rock refers to them as "The millions.......and millions....of The Rock's fans out there!" Perhaps the most hated rival of Rocky is Mankind, as Mankind won over from him the title belt last December. However, The Great One took it back during Royal Rumble in an "I-Quit-Match", where the objective is to make either opponent to say "I Quit!", to which the winner would emerge from. But Mankind was furious because he DID NOT say "I Quit!" but instead, a taped recording of his voice during an interview was played over the system when The Rock pushed the mic to his mouth. This time, they had a rematch in an "Empty Arena Match", where Rocky lost it. He finally regained his belt one day after St Valentine's Day Massacre with the assist from The Big Show, Paul Wight in a "Ladder Match" Now his current rival is Stone Cold Steve Austin, where both had been involved in exciting and classic matches be it on the ring, below the ring, on the commentators' tables, in the spectators' seats and even on a bridge! But currently, The Rock lost his Champion belt to Stone Cold during Backlash and was fired from The Coporation. But who needs Shane McMahon, right? The Rock can still raise The People's Eyebrow as long as he is still in the wrestling industry coz If u smell......lalalalala! What The Rock is cookin'!
