Fake Diesel
Brief Introduction
Glen Jacobs began his career in the WWF as a Kevin Nash (aka. Diesel)
impersonator who called himself "Diesel". After the first appearence he was
given the name of "Fake Diesel". After Kevin Nash, the real Diesel, left the
WWF for the WCW, Glen changed his identity to Kane.
Kane's story is that he is the younger half(!?) brother of Mark Callaway (The Undertaker).
They lived with their parents who owned a funeral parlour. One day, Mark set fire to the parlour, killing his parents, disfiguring
Kane (main reason for Kane to be wearing the mask) and spoiling his vocal chords. (He got to use a voice transmitter to speak) After the fire, Glen was found by Paul Bearer. Paul raised Glen as his
own son, telling no one that he was alive.
Kane made his debut in the WWF on Oct 5th 1997 at Badd Blood Pay-Per- View.
During the Undertaker / Shawn Michaels "Hell In A Cell" match, Kane went to
the ring, ripped the door off the steel cage and tombstoned The Undertaker,
allowing The Heartbreak Kid to win the match. In April 1998, the
siblings fought in the first-ever Inferno Match at Unforgiven! A rematch was held during an episode
of RAW at which Kane's foot caught fire. Kane then proceeded to team up with Mankind
to become the WWF Tag Team Champions. Kane next became the WWF World
Champion at the 98 King Of The Ring by defeating Stone Cold Steve Austin. He reign was
short and uneventful, loosing the title back to Austin soon after.Though his reign was short-lived, the seven-foot monster proved he could
live up to all expectations. But Paul Bearer turned his back on his own son, rejoining The Undertaker and
leaving Kane to fend for himself. The Big Red Machine has no one to teach him right from
wrong, and all he knows is how to dish out pain! Recently, Kane was committed to a mental facility.
However, Mr. McMahon secured his release and Kane was a virtual prisoner in The Corporate team.
That was all a ruse. It turns out that Kane is just a loyal a member of The Corporate Team as any other.
He acts on McMahon's orders swifty and with brutal dispatch and is also known as The Corporate Team's "Minister of
Destruction." Currently, Kane has left The Coporation and is now tag teamed with X-Pac
to be the Tag Team Champions. Not only has X-Pac managed to team up with the Big Red Machine successfully, he has also turned Kane from a "machine" into a human being with feelings. But after many defeated matches with the bigger guys, X-pac decided to leave Kane as he thinks that he is just dragging Kane with him and that Kane will have a better future without him as his tag team partner.
