ACTIVITY

As an International Students, Indonesian Rockhampton Student Association is a member of ROSA. It means, almost all of the activity were done with ROSA CQU as part of the University event.

There are several event conducts by ROSA, such as:

International Night

An event for all of International student. All of students should become a representative of the country by providing the national culture such as song or arts.

ROSA Game

A small Olympic games, with fun and cozy atmosphere. All of the team match should mixed, between girls and guys. No limitation players, little rules. Usully, football, basketball, handball, cricket, volleyball are the most popular games in this event.

Bush Dancing

An outdoor activity at summer night, before summer semester. Provided by Central Queensland University Language Center. Bush Dancing is the famous Australian dancing, in farm environment. You will sit in the night, listening the country music, dancing in the big round and following the music rythm by changing the partner in every time.

International Badminton Tournament

A special event in every 2 years. Indonesian students basically very famous in this event. We are the champion, from the beginning of this event. The countries who used to followed this tournament are Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Australia.

International Day

The very important event for every student association. This is palce for us for looking up to the money, for all of our activity. We can sell a lot of our national food such as sate, bakwan or the light food to all of the attendance. This event is a big event in Rockhampton, and almost half of Rockhampton people will come and tasting the variety of the food.

Others

All of the lists are not all of our activity, there are several activity for us such as, the election of Indonesian Student Association president, barbeque party, golf and many other things to enjoy.
