Conclusion

This term, I’m in a very special ESL class. This class is not as same as other ESL or English class, we can do our works all through the Internet. It’s like a computer lab class. We have much more times on doing our works on the net. From this class, I’ve learned how to make a homepage, how to search more information on the different search engines on the Internet. Besides those, we have our own pen pal from Sweden. Everyday, we sent e-mail and discussion on the book report we did. From that, we’ve learned from each other, although sometimes we had different opinions on certain topics we talked about. In this class, we didn’t just work on the computer, we also studied on many literary works. For example, poems, stories, and some non-fiction story. After we studied about them, we wrote some poems and one own story by ourselves. Also, we kept learning about many own writing. Thus, our writing and reading skill will be improved.

In this class, I found the most interesting things to do are going on the Internet, and working on our WebPages. Sometimes, we go to our teacher’s homepage, and look at what works that should be done for every week. The discussion that we put on that site, we can look at how other people think about on different topics. All of these things bring so much fun for us. For me, because I never had been in a class like this before, I feel that I really enjoy on taking this class. In addition, we put all of our work assignment put on our homepages. And we can let everyone who is in our class or anyone who is outside of this class. We can let them look at all the works we’ve done in this class. Isn’t it so great?!

Although I’ve learned many things and get improvements on my reading and writing skills, I think I still need to work harder on making my homepage. Sometimes, I still got to ask help from my friends, because I’m not so good on doing that. Therefore, I will spend more time on it, and try to learn more by myself. Also, I think I need to read more books, because when I was doing my book report. Although that was not the first time for me to do it, I didn’t do book report frequently. So, I still met some problems when I was reading the book and writing my own responses. I’m sure that I can get improvement if I spend more time and read more books.

From all those work assignments I’ve done in this class, the one that I most proud of is all those three parts that I did for my book report. I spent a lot time on reading the book, and I really cherish all those works. I think I tried my best on doing them, so, I might not do very well, but I still feel proud of it. Two poems and one story that I wrote, I think I worked hardest on them and those two poems which I think are the best.

In this webfolio, from all the process that I made it, I know it is not that easy on making a homepage, and you need to know very clearly about the internet, and how to make your own site. Otherwise, you’ll have a hard time on doing it. Just like me, at the beginning, I can say that I had no idea on doing it. Later on, the teacher taught us and my friends helped me, gradually, I know more and more about making a website. Here, I want to say "thanks" for my teacher and my classmates. Knowing how to make a website is very beneficial, we all know that in this modern society, everything is related to computer, so we learn more about computer, no matter what it is, it will help us when we get a job in the future. So, I think that I’ve learn this skill in this class now, my computer skill gets improvements, it really helps me a lot.
