Should Beepers Be Banned?

First, students go to school for learning knowledge, banning beepers can make schools safer by reducing the drug and gang problems. Some students carry beepers to contact drug deal and gang activity. However, some of them said thire parents want them to carry beepers because their parents want to be able to reach their children easily in an emergency. I think if parents need to contact their children, they can call the school office. Also, beepers are not necessary for us, they work only for people who need to work outside. For example, like firemen, police, or bussinessmen and bussiness women. Every month, we need to pay money for it if we've got one. In addition, students don't get very good economy, they don't work fulltime or even get no job. It will cause some economic problem for us. Students who get beeped during class will be distracted from learning. Or when someone pages them, they also can't go to call them back immediately. The things above are all drawbacks for carrying a beeper in school.

Therefore, beepers should be banned in school. This rule can help all the students concentrate on learning things. Without beepers, students also can communicate with others by using telephones. Beepers came out just for the adults who have a career and beeper can help them to contact someone who is important to them when they are outside of their workplaces. It is not necessary and useful for us!
