Mekong Delta Region

Little houses were scattered in the rice padis

We took a ride through the small rivers system in the Mekong, through villages and floating markets

The lush forests surrounded us

Mike chilled out on a hammock when we stopped at a tropical fruit orchard

I had no idea what I was eating, but it was delicious

These three kids showed me around the orchard, and were a bit shy, but finally agreed to a picture

I whimped out of holding the snake!

This woman made rice paper, and we didn't realize the difficulty involved until she let us try. Nobody could do it.
