We went to a tropical fruit orchard and rubber plantation.

And lots of little animals
I and others were intrigued by this incredible plant with
its massive trunk-like foundation. We inspected it from afar,
intellectualizing its make-up, then we went up and felt it. We were
surprised to find a concrete column with a potted plant on top!
Monkey Beach
Heather and I went off on our own in search of some good
hiking and relaxation. We found the perfect place, Monkey Beach, with
hiking trails scattered throughout.
Heather and I bonded on our hike. She, also a
non-practicing musician, wasn't afraid of all the unusual amimals. I
was.
