UTILIZING SHAPED NOTEPADS-
     Colorful, inexpensive shaped note pads are available in most Teachers' Supply stores. In
     typewriter, or computer to make word search relevant to story & laminate. Children can use
     China markers or Sharpies to write on it. They also make great Attendance Charts,

STENCILS-
     If children are reluctant to draw, they will respond to using stencils. They are available at most
     craft store and Wal-Mart. You can me the plastic liner found inside bacon package to make
     your own stencils with die cuts or there is a stencil making tool available in craft stores for about
     $16.

STAMPS & STAMP PADS-
     Available in many different shapes relevant to story at craft stores and Wal-Mart. You can also
     make your own from tiny die cut shapes.

SPONGE PAINT-
     Can be die cut from compressed sponge available at craft stores. Or you can purchase precut
     sponges.

CHANGEABLE MARKERS-
     Before class, trace simple pictures onto small piece of paper with clear marker in box, one for
     each child. (You have to put a small pencil dot on right side of paper). In class, allow children to
     color with colored markers. Picture appears. Suggestions: Words for Handwriting on the wall,
     Fire for Prophets of Baal, Tongues of fire for Pentecost.

BOOKMARKS-
     Blank bookmarks available at craft stores, or if you have tag or cover weight paper, you can cut
     your own and put hole in top with a hole punch. Children can decorate with stamps, stickers or
     write a memory verse on it.

GREETING CARDS-
     Blank cards available at craft stores, or you can fold tag or cover weight paper yourself. This is
     much cheaper.

ENVELOPE SURPRISE-
     Before class, use Elmer's glue to outline a simple picture on a piece of tag or poster board that
     fits into the envelopes you have available. Do one for each child. Allow glue to dry then place
     inside the envelope and seal. In class the children can do a crayon rub to make the picture
     appear. Or you can put something inside such as a leaf, or a die cut.

PAPER BAG PUPPETS-
     Use die cuts, or figures from a book. Use colored bags. Target has 24 purple bags for $1.29.

PAPER TOWEL ROLL-
     Make Nebuchadnezzar's Dream Statue, write Kingdoms on lines. Copy pattern, let children
     color appropriately, tape to tube.
