04/19/99 This was received from the EORU a little while ago. I think that it is self explanatory.

The Eastern Ontario Rugby Union nominated six distinguished members to receive the 1999 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards.

I am delighted that all the nominations were accepted and that on Tuesday, April 6th in Cornwall they will be recognized for their outstanding contribution to rugby in Eastern Ontario.

Awards for thirty and more years of service to rugby will be presented to:

Douglas (Herb) Stacey of Kingston

Peter Sloan of Ottawa

Michael (Mike) Ward of Deep River

Awards for twenty years of dedicated service to rugby will be presented to:

Suzanne (Sue) Chaulk of Russell

James (Jim) Lohoar of Aylmer

Robert (Lee) Powell of Kanata
