This site is dedicated to the Upper Ottawa Valley Blues Rugby Football Club, its founders, members, fans, and friends. This club has strived for years to maintain a positive reputation amongst other clubs and to treat its members and friends with a respect and devotion that they well deserve.
The UOV was originally established quite some time ago
as the Deep River RFC and has continued an illustrious tradition of clean,
hard rugby and socials with the other clubs of the EORU, ORU, and many
international and interprovincial sides. Hosting our own tournament
in Deep River every spring and sending our men's side to various tournaments
across the province and where ever else we're needed, the UOV seeks every
year to meet new friends and deepen the ties with old ones. Representing
the Ottawa Valley north west of Ottawa, we seek out players from many diverse
sources, creating a mixture of military players from CFB Petawawa, civilians
from Western Quebec and Renfrew County, and students from Cobden to Deep
River. Our sides prove every year that the Upper Ottawa Valley produces
a wide variety of talented ruggers whom travel the distance to show that
the UOV is not a club to be taken lightly on the pitch!
