3. Winter Training

6. Women's team
* ACTION 15: Paul Tonner
to contact Rick Klatt about coaching
a womens team
* ACTION 15 Report: As anticipated,
Rick will be running
spring training for Bishops girls for spring tour and regional
championships but is not able to coach a womens club side
7. Miscellaneous
* It was agreed that field fees
of $1 per person be collected
from visiting team but not from our own players
* Any shortfall in covering field
fees on the day to be paid
for out of cash
Season Schedule
* Al Bakewell will be in touch
with the league planners
concerning the season schedule
* It was agreed that something
should be done about the fall
season: too much money for too many defaults
* The league is aware of the problem
and will try to correct
it
8. Junior Development
* It was agreed to run a junior
team at least for a few games
even if turn-out is poor, in the hopes that turn-out will improve
with
play
* The following items were listed
as junior development topics
for a previous meeting but were not discussed in that previous
meeting or
in the present one. These items will be covered more fully
at a future
meeting.
