About Adam
I was born March 13, 1976 in Kansas. I've lived in the same small Kansas town (Melvern) and in the same house my whole life. My immediate family includes my parents, Larry and Marie and my two younger sisters Teresa and Marcia.
I graduated from Marais des Cygnes Valley High School in Melvern on May 22, 1994. Two days later I suffered a spinal cord injury from a diving accident at Melvern Lake. I have moved forward with my life and I have continued my education first at Emporia State University, and then completed earning my Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology at the University of Kansas in May of 2002.
I am known primarily for my positive outlook on life and my sense of humor. Both of these have helped me through the best of times and the worst of times. I also give credit to my family and friends for their support, they are all as good as it gets.
